TICF - Educational Research

  • TICF has a rich experience of drawing upon a diverse range of educational research projects. It has also been called upon to participate in various committees constituted by both the Central and State Governments of India. A partial list of such collaborations is listed below:

  • Mr. Nedunchezhian D, worked with Committee of Experts constituted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD), Government of India to review the functioning of Deemed Universities in India (Prof. Tandon Committee)

  • He worked with Committee of Experts constituted by Government of Tamil Nadu for abolition of Common Entrance Test (CET) headed by Prof. M. Anandakrishnan

  • He was part of the Oversight Committee of the Planning Commission for Reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs): Reservation Policy and Academic Performance: A Tamil Nadu Case Study (Veerappa Moily Committee).

  • He provided assistance for a Major Research Project on the Privatization of Higher Education and Protection of Social Equity, prepared under the University Grants Commission (UGC)

  • He contributed to the research initiative - ‘Revisiting Education Commission: Perspectives, Goals and Values’ for National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), New Delhi

  • Co-authored with Padmashri. Prof. M. Anandakrishnan, Chairman IIT Kanpur, for another research project on Indian Education of the following topics:
